Would you like to be be responsible for shaping and driving the QA vision which includes driving and improving the test automation and performance strategies?
We are looking for a QA Architect who will be setting the methodologies and technical directions for new Quality Assurance initiatives.
You will support and guide our QA engineers and product teams to meet the quality requirements of the Kramp organization.
Kramp Group business is supported by a multitude of product teams, using a broad range of technologies. The teams work independently on improving their specific products, while they are also together responsible for the end to end good working of the cross applications business processes. Our central QA platform team is set up to enable the product team to ensure the quality of their products.
In the coming years, Kramp will run a large and complex transformation program where legacy ERP will be replaced. This requires special attention to quality assurance and applications performance. The QA team will work on aspects such as: test management, test environments, test data, performance, regression testing, test automation and observability. You will play an important role in guiding and advising the projects and product teams in regards to quality assurance.
The role
You will work closely with product owners, project managers, solution architects and other stakeholders as contractors. You will ensure high quality throughout the software development and projects lifecycle. You will report to the Manager Architecture.
Furthermore you will work on:
QA Strategy: Develop and define quality strategies, standards, and methodologies for the organization. Align these with the business goals and technology vision.
Test Architecture and Framework Design: Define scalable, reusable, and maintainable testing frameworks for functional, performance, security, and other types of testing.
Test data: Design robust test data management strategies to ensure that accurate, consistent, and secure data is available for testing processes. Define frameworks for generating test data to meet functional, performance and compliance requirements of the various initiatives.
Test Automation Strategy: Together with the QA platform team you will design automation frameworks which cover unit, integration, regression, and performance testing. You will guide the product teams in using (CI/CD) pipelines to integrate automated testing.
Performance Testing: Define best practices for performance testing and advise on related testing frameworks and tooling, ensuring they align with company concrete needs and industry standards.
Risk Management: Support product teams in identifying and assessing quality risks in the software development process and projects. Develop mitigation strategies to address potential quality issues.
Who are you?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in a QA related role, with 3+ years of experience in a more leading or advising role related to QA.
Proven track record of QA processes, test automation, test data, and performance testing. QA experience in the context of large and complex implementations.
Understanding of software development processes, integrations and system monitoring solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to think strategically, form a vision for QA and evangelize this across the organization.
Ability to work autonomously and a proactive approach to identify and address QA related challenges.
Experience in product-centric organization as retail or wholesale is a plus.
